CJOH- THE WONDER STATION
Another guy I used to see wandering around the Beechwood I.G.A was Max Keeping.Max was the station manager of CJOH(a C.T.V station).Max was a Newfoundlander and damn proud of it.But Max was too fast for me ;I would never get to approach him but I could see him several times.Max, of course,had Keith Morrison and Peter Jeenings working for him.Peter went on to be the anchor on ABC News.Whatever Peter had done he had done it well in order to get his job as it was a very prestigious job.
I had seen Max wandering around Ottawa,in particular the Ottawa market but I had never come face to face with him.Strangely enough when I was in London,Ontario and presenting my claim and motion against the city and mayor of London I saw Max's brother.He looked just like Max but he was a little taller and he had a broken leg.I forget his name but he had crutches.I was staying at the London Mission and so was this guy,in fact,we both slept in the same area.This is the time when I was negotiating with Jim Barber,the city solicitor.It is possible that Max's brother went over to see Jim Barber but I never saw him there.Maybe Max was reporting back to his
brother in Ottawa.
