Kathy's glory days

Kathleen Wynne had two important events last week and neither went that well.She had the conference of the premiers in Niagara-on - the - Lake and five byelections.The result was little press coverage of the conference and the loss of three Liberal seats.Before the elections she had five Liberal seats and after the election she had only two.I believe that Ontarioans are giving her a message that there is too much government spending in Ontario.This kind of spending makes people feel better but does not create jobs.On another front the Conference Board has revised the figure for economic growth for Canada from 1.5% downward to 1,25% or 1.0%.I have not seen the forecast but it likely means that Ontario will have growth of 1.25% to 1.5% (this year only)
